SEND FOR PAUL TEMPLE by Francis Durbridge

BOOK RATING: The Story 4 / 5 ; The Writing 4 / 5

BOOK REVIEW: Vintage mystery. This little tale by Francis Durbridge was a delightful audiobook to listen to. The narrator Anthony Head does a marvellous job conveying the proprietary and social conventions of the time and place that is the setting for this quaint mystery. With twists and turns, secret hideouts, trapdoors, heroes, villains and the old double-cross, this story is action-packed. A dose of dry British humour and a budding romance also added to the enjoyment of this charming story.
