Booklover Book Reviews First Birthday Giveaway

To celebrate this milestone I have decided to giveaway one brand new copy of one of my favourite books read during the year.
The books entrants can choose from are:

SWEETNESS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PIE – Alan Bradley (cosy mystery, quirky)

Wow only a year. Good work! I was wondering how you are able to offer a book giveaway? Did you ave to code that form yourself?
I have been blogging for about 5 years, but book blogging for only a couple of months. I have recently started making affiliate sales through Book Depository, more than with Amazon.

Sean – I will just be purchasing the winner's book myself through Book Depository. I am a novice when it comes to coding so I created the entry form using Google Documents. It is free and super easy with their form wizard. Then you just select 'embed' and you copy and paste the html into your post. I tweaked the code just slightly to get the iframe size just right, but that's about it. Then, as people fill in the form it self-populates a spreadsheet for me in my Google Account which I can login and check any time I like – no extra work transposing data, keeps people's personal details safe and it makes it really easy to keep track of additional entries and to select the winner randomly! Being in a spreadsheet means I can do analysis on which book people are selecting most etc too… I strongly recommend Google Documents to anyone holding a giveaway, or collecting any information for that matter.
