My Best Books of 2014

As the year draws to a close it is time to look back at all the books I enjoyed during 2014 and highlight those worthy of special mention.

My Best Books of 2014

Only three titles have received my 5 star rating for both The Story and The Writing – I’ve been a very hard marker this year. However others have earned 5 stars for The Writing or 4.5 stars in both respects.

Have you read any of my Best Books of 2014?

It’s a pretty diverse collection featuring everything from the offbeat and humourous, science/fantasy, historical, translated and classic fiction, plus new literary talent.

Since I’ve been such a hard marker this year I urge you to check out my 4+ star rated reviews also – I awarded 28 titles that rating in 2014, all highly recommended.

All in all 2014 was a great reading year for me.
