I am committing to the Aussie Author Challenge 2015 at the KANGAROO level.
– Read and review 12 titles written by Australian Authors of which at least 4 of those authors are female, at least 4 of those authors are male, and at least 4 of those authors are new to you;
– At least 6 fiction and at least 2 non-fiction, and at least 2 titles first published in 2014 or 2015.
While there will be a wealth of fantastic new release titles featured as part of the challenge this year via giveaways courtesy of our several supporting publishers, I also hope to find time to read one or two more Aussie classics in 2015. I’ll also be making an effort to read a little more non-fiction, along with fiction genres I’ve traditionally read the least such as fantasy and young adult.
Disclosure: If you click a link in this post and make a purchase, I may earn a small commission.
If a 12 book commitment sounds too daunting then never fear there are 3 and 6 book challenge levels also
… no matter what level you choose the objective is to explore the great diversity of work being produced by Aussie authors.
Go to the Aussie Author Challenge 2015 homepage to find out the benefits of becoming a challenge participant, including extra entries into Aussie author book giveaways throughout the year.
