I am inviting all lovers of the written word to join me in my Short Story Summer Challenge, 1 December 2012 – 28 February 2013.

Hosting this mini challenge here on Booklover Book Reviews is primarily a way of holding myself accountable for doing what I have been saying I would do for a long time now – read more short story collections! With the weather starting to steam up here in the southern hemisphere and so much going on over Christmas and the New Year period I figured it would be the perfect time to slot in some bite-sized reading.

To make this personal goal a bit more fun, anyone who is interested can sign-up too and share links to their reviews of short story collections over the same period at the linkies provided below.

The Challenge

To read and review four (4) published collections of short stories or essays during the Southern Summer, 1 December 2012 – 28 February 2013.

I have included essays because I know there are lots of non-fiction buffs out there. The collections can be from a single author or multiple authors. Those shivering away in the northern hemisphere are welcome to join us southerners in the hope of feeling warmer ;)

I hope to arrange some short story author interviews and other features during the challenge also. This home page will provide links to all activities associated with the challenge.

Short Story Challenge Features:

AUTHOR INTERVIEW: Alec S Patric – Las Vegas for Vegans

AUTHOR INTERVIEW: Edward Belfar – Wanderers

BOOK GIVEAWAY: Wanderers by Edward Belfar
