Aussie Author Challenge Objective

The objective of this reading challenge is to showcase the quality and diversity of the books being produced by Australian authors.

The new homepage, including registration linky, has just gone live.

What is there to gain by participating in this reading challenge?

  • A link to every book review you publish and link up to the challenge homepage will be featured in the ‘Aussie Author Challenge Update’ section of our fortnightly Booklover Book Reviews Newsletter (1000+ engaged subscribers). See past newsletters and subscribe via this link.
  • Being welcomed into a passionate group of book lovers, exposure to the diverse range of books being published by Australian writers, and we are sure, your next great read!

A new challenge level

In acknowledgement of several ‘super Aussie Author supporters’ in 2019, in 2020 we have added a brand new 24 book challenge level – EMU – to the existing WALLABY (3), WALLAROO (6) and KANGAROO (12 book) levels. Each of these, then include sub-targets designed to promote reading diversity, e.g. gender, genre.

Find out more…

Visit the Aussie Author Reading Challenge 2020 Homepage for full details on each challenge level and step-by-step instructions on how to sign-up and then how to participate once the new year arrives.

There is no time limit on challenge registration. I myself will be signing-up closer to year-end, but I am aware many like to lock away their New Year Reading Resolutions before the holiday festivities take hold.

I look forward to reading and sharing in your experiences with great Australian writing in 2020!
